52 Week Challenge

Red Berry Crochet is hosting a 52 Week Challenge beginning this week in honor of March being National Crochet Month!      (The start of the Challenge was March 5th)

Updates

I have moved into a bigger house on the property with my son and his family. We were all in my little house for a while and we were making it work, but this is SOOO much nicer :)

I have started crocheting again, I found Ravelry and learned about Crochet-A-Longs and am having too much fun :)

First there is the Moogly Crochet-A-Long (CAL) and the UN-official ravelry page for it

Then there is the 2014 BAM CAL (Block-A-Month Crochet-A-Long)

Everyone there has been absolutely SWEET! Lots of encouragement, project pictures, and tips and tricks on different techniques. It has been great :)

So Much Has Happened

It is amazing how time can not only fly, but RACE; especially, when you are not paying attention! Christmas came and went; chickens taken care of; garden planted; life in general, and most exciting of all...

I have a new grand-baby!!! She was born in March :)

I just wanted to let everyone know I am still alive and who I have been playing with! She has such a personality! And SMART! I get that little evil giggle when I think of all the things mommy and daddy are going to be doing just to be able to keep up with her... and her big brother I am sure is going to be a big help!

Just not sure he is going to be such a big help to mom and dad so much as to his baby sister and giving her ideas. I love it.

Working On

Here are some things I have been working  on (besides Christmas presents!)

A lot of my stuff was left out in the weather (my husband's idea of "putting away"). All that gunk is dirt and newspapers!

So I have been trying to clean/salvage all that I can!

While working on a lap blanket for me (Bottom: the pink, black, and white item); scrubbies for mom (Right: orange and purple items); a snowflake garland am trying out (Top: pale blue item); and towel toppers for mom (Left: cherries towel and green item).

And trying to untangle all this...

I must have A.D.D. because I have other projects in the works too!
